Flickers of color dripping from my resistance, forming dark figures of doubt.
illuminated spherical light, reflecting, losing, shape is gone
dimming, cold, lower now
the dream is gone…

I recently got my hands on A Woman’s World Magazine because we just happened to have been featured in it. I had actually never read it before but I must say that it is now one that I will add to my go to list of magazines as I check out at the grocery store.
Long story short, they had this awesome article about removing stubborn stains with these pretty nifty tricks!
QUICK TIP: HAIRSPRAY
Spritz the stain hairspray, let sit for 10 minutes then wipe with a clean cloth. Rinse with hot water then launder as usual.
Why it works? Its alcohol dissolves the grease, oil and dyes cosmetics
COFFEE STAINS
QUICK TIP: WHITENING TOOTHPASTE
Wet the area with cold water, then rub a pea sized amount of whitening toothpaste on the spot. Wait 2 minutes and then rinse with cold water.
Why it works? The abrasives in whitening toothpaste neutralizes those acids and loosens the stain.
QUICK TIP: HAND SANITIZER
Saturate the stain with the sanitizer, then blot with a paper towel. Repeat until the stain is gone.
Why it works? Not sure, just does…
QUICK TIP: ASPIRIN
Crush 3 aspirin tablets in a bowl and add enough water to create a paste. spread on stains and let sit overnight. In the morning rinse with hot water, and your whites should be bright again.
Why it works? The Salicylic Acid in aspirin lifts away sweat and antiperspirant residue that causes the yellow discoloration.
QUICK TIP: AN IRON & PAPER TOWELS
Cover the crayon stain with a sheet of paper towel and iron over it. Then rub a dab of dishwasher liquid over the spot to lift the pigments, then wash as usual.
Why it works? The heat from the Iron will melt the wax while the paper towel absorbs it.
QUICK TIP: SALT
Make a paste with 1/4 cup salt and 1 Tbs. water, then apply to the stain. Leave for 30 minutes then rinse off.
Why it works? Salt’s abrasive scrubbing action breaks down the blood into tiny particles, so it can be easily rinsed away with cold water. Why cold water? It causes cloth fibers to expand and loosen so that the salt can get to where it needs to be.
QUICK TIP: VODKA
Dip a clean cloth in the vodka, and rub the stain vigorously then rinse with cool water.
Why it works? The alcohol in vodka removes stain, and because it is colorless it won’t leave color behind.
