My greatest fear

By Teresa Bebla on June 19, 2010 | Category: | Comments Off

I actually had this dream two nights ago, but it was one of those dreams where you wake up crying. In my opinion these dreams are by far the worst, because I fail to realize that I am actually dreaming. usually I know that I am dreaming and I am able to control what happens.

I really don’t remember in detail all that happened because I waited so long to post this but I remember the main parts.

I am at what appears to be some sort of convention, there is a huge crowd of people, lots of booths and activity around. I am there with my two children and my husband’s mother. We are getting ready to leave but there is something that I have to do before we go, so I stand at what looks like a ticket window. I grab the hands of both of my kids so that they can stand in line with me, because I didn’t feel comfortable with my husband’s mother taking my kids in this huge crowd.

My husband’s mother becomes offended because I won’t let them go with her, so after and almost heated argument I agree to let them go with her. So I stand in line to finish whatever it was that I was doing. As soon as I finish, I rush to find them in the crowd, when I finally do, my husband’s mother is standing with only my youngest child. I immediately yell at her, “Where is Kaden?” She turns to me with her nose up in the air with a look of arrogance and says “I don’t know” very calm. I begin running around screaming in agony, my crying trying to find my oldest son. After not being able to find him I run to her and yell “Where is my Son!” She finally tells me that she just left him by himself somewhere. Then she said “You stole my son from me, now someone has stolen yours…” I grab my youngest from her and begin running in this vast crowd of strangers crying and praying that I find my son, but I never did.

I sat up crying, gasping with my heart in my throat, and immediately went to hug my son and tell him how much I love him…I was so relieved to discover that it was only a dream!
