Even skin tone fruitfully!

So how often have you gone to your local drugstore, Target, Sephora etc. Looking for that perfect product to even skin tone or help provide you with a smooth, balanced skin? I personally never purchase any products from the store but I do on occasion like to venture into the beauty isles to see what is offered and the ingredients.

My favorite store is Target! I love that they have a green beauty section, so I like to look at the “Green products” offered. It is somewhat irritating that 95% of these products are not Green at all! Red dye #4, Propylene glycol (a toxic petrochemical) etc. But when can you do? Maybe educate yourself on safe, effective, environmentally sounds companies and their products??

Now back from my rant…

Did you have any idea that Pineapple juice or lemon juice is all that you need? Here is what you need to do.

———————————————————————————————————————————————

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • 1 Tablespoon Raw Pineapple juice OR Lemon Juice (it will burn if you have any cuts on your skin)
  • 1 Tablespoon Sunflower Seed meal

———————————————————————————————————————————————

WHAT TO DO:

Place the juice into a small bowl and add in the Sunflower seed meal, then mix. It should form a paste, you can add more juice or meal depending on your desires consistency. I like mine think so that it clings to my face.

———————————————————————————————————————————————–

RECOMMENDED SKIN TYPES:

  • Oily
  • Normal
  • Combination

———————————————————————————————————————————————

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR:

  • Acne
  • Rosacea
  • Sensitive
  • Sunburned
  • Mature or Elderly

——————————————————————————————————————————————–

HOW TO APPLY:

Wash your hands before you begin. Then using your fingers massage onto the face, throat & decollete. Allow to sit for 10 minutes and then rinse. Follow with moisturizer.

———————————————————————————————————————————————-

HOW OFTEN:

Use this facial scrub once to twice a week until you begin to notice your desired outcome.

———————————————————————————————————————————————-

WHAT IT DOES:

Pineapple and lemon juice contain natural acids, so this easy to make facial scrub will tend to lighten the skin and act as a chemical exfoliate.

I hope you enjoy this one…I know I do!

DIY Baby Wipes

This is such a simple and inexpensive alternative to the toxic baby wipes out there on the supermarket shelves. A major plus is that all you have to do is rewash and reuse the cloth…How awesome is that??

—————————————————————————————————————————————–

So what you will need is:

3 1/2 Tablespoons of Organic Chamomile Hydrosol

3 1/2 Tablespoons of Vegetable Glycerin

Thin baby wash cloths

—————————————————————————————————————————————–

All you have to do is pour both ingredients into a bottle, place the lid on and shake until well combined.

You then want to fold your cloths and place them in your storage container of choice, just make sure that it also has a lid.

pour enough of your solution so that each cloth is moist and keep sealed in you container to use whenever needed.

Enjoy!
